Functional Movement Evaluation in Orlando
At Unconventional Strength in Orlando, we believe the best training programs start with the best data. That’s why every new client begins with our 90-minute Functional Movement Evaluation—a comprehensive process that identifies strengths, limitations, and injury risks before you even touch a weight.
-
Functional Client History
We go beyond the standard health questionnaire. From training background and injury history to sleep, nutrition, and daily aches or pains—your history helps us understand how life impacts your movement. This sets the foundation for a safe, effective strength and conditioning plan
-
Using our “Peripheral Big Four” CARs—Shoulder, Spine, Hip, and Neck—we measure how well your nervous system connects to your joints. This shows us usable range of motion, movement quality, and compensation patterns that may limit performance or increase injury risk.
-
With cutting edge technology, we capture a full 3D analysis of your mobility and movement mechanics. Results are benchmarked against American Medical Association standards, giving you a mobility score (0–100) and visual insights into joint function, movement efficiency, and compensations.
-
Here we compare active vs. passive range of motion to determine whether you need more flexibility, mobility, or strength in specific joints. This hands-on testing provides deeper insights that technology alone can’t capture.
